The Standard Menu Items Help
Here you will find help with your account settings. Your account settings are accessed via the gear icon at the bottom of the menu panel on the left side of the site webpages.
Here is where you can change your email address and/or change your password. For security, you are required to enter your current password before updating your email or password.
To change your email, highlight or delete your current email address from that box and enter the new email address you would like to use with your account. To change your password, type in a new password in the Add Your New Password box and then retype your new password in the Repeat Your new Password Box. Click the blue Save Changes button to save your new information.
Here you can choose which notifications to received by email. Notifications are grouped into four sections: Activity Fee, Messages, Social Groups and Connections.
At this time, the only privacy option you can change is the display of your Last Name.
If you only want to receive invitations to groups from members you are connected to, check the box that says Restrict Group invites to members who are connected and click the blue Save button.
Here you can click the blue button to request a copy of all data you have created on the Standard. For security purposes an email will be sent to you asking you to verify your request. Once we have received your request, it will be reviewed and a zip file containing your data will be emailed to you.
If you want to delete you account with the Standard, check the box that says “I understand the consequences” and click on the blue Delete Account button. Deleting your account will delete all of the content you have created. It will be completely irrecoverable.

When adding photos to posts in your timeline you will need to upload the photos directly to the post. At this time you are unable to attach photos from your photo library while creating a post on your timeline.
When uploading photos into a post a progress bar will appear in the center of the image. The bar will turn blue as the upload progresses. Please wait until the green checkbox appears and the blue bar goes away before posting your update so that you will not lose your upload in the post. You can upload more than one image to a post. Any photos you upload into your post will automatically be saved to your photos library.
Once a photo has been uploaded to your post, if you haven’t yet clicked the blue Post Update button yet, you can delete a photo by clicking the red X that appears in the upper right corner of the photo in the post.
Before sharing your post you can choose who can see it. This option appears in the bottom left corner of your post. The options are Public, All Member, My Connections, or Only Me.
Any time that you want to change the visibility of one of your posts you can do so, even if it has already been shared. Directly above your post next to the time stamp of when your post was shared you will see a drop-down arrow that will give you the option to change your post to Public, All Members, My Connections, or Only Me.
There are four options at the bottom of your own posts. You can choose to Like, Comment,Edit, or Delete your post.

To use the link feature highlight a portion or all of the text in your reply and then you click on the link option. Then paste in the link that you have and then click the check mark and that text will be linked to the URL that entered.
The three dot menu next to the name of your connection in the conversation view presents you with four options. You can mark the conversation as unread which is useful when you want to be reminded to review it again. You can hide the conversation. This hides the conversation until you click on it again. And you can delete your messages from that conversation while keeping the conversation in your list of conversations.
Another option you have in your messages is to delete a conversation which will remove it from your list of conversations. This can be done by hovering over the name of your connection in the list of conversations and clicking the x that appears.
